Schools across Uganda put more emphasis on science subjects during the annual national Science Day celebrations.

Students participated in science exhibitions, experiments, and competitions designed to spark interest in STEM fields.

"Science and technology drive national development," said a Ministry of Education representative. "We must encourage more students, especially girls, to pursue STEM careers."

The event highlighted innovative student projects in renewable energy, agriculture technology, and health sciences.
