BAPTISTS IN UGANDA UBS began in 1988 and is the main factor in the rise of Baptist church numbers and membership growth in Uganda. Baptist Churches are gaining membership and are active in evangelism. UBS Theological Programs Advanced Diploma 3yrs. Diploma 3 yrs. Certificate 3 yrs. Upgrade Classes are offered for UBS graduates. Uganda National Council of Higher Education licensed the UBS Diploma program in 2006. They awarded UBS the Certificate of Classification and Registration in 2010. That means UBS is fully accredited for Diploma education. UBS has begun the process for one degree accreditation. UBS June students: Certificate 13, 14, and 15 classes plus Diploma 25 class. Seventy -five students attended UBS this month. May 26, 2012 UBS Graduation photo in front of the library Certificate 12, Diploma 20 and 21, and Advanced Diploma 3 students completed their course requirements with comprehensive exams to finish and graduate this year. This is the only graduation in 2012 with thirty-nine students graduating. This makes four hundred ninety church leaders who have graduated from UBS since starting in 1988.
