Of the 3,089 applications recieved this year, 625 students will be supported to study under the loan scheme this Academic Year.(2022/23) Government of Uganda recognizes the need for more funding to capitalize the Higher Education Students Financing Board, because the demand for student loans has certainly surpassed the available resources. We shall seek an audience with Ministry of Finance, to lobby for increased funding for the students financing board. -Hon J C Muyingo
