Over 2000 teachers in Wakiso district have completed a refresher training on the new Lower Secondary Curriculum. The training was aimed at equipping teachers with the knowledge and skills required to effectively teach senior three content and manage leaner assessment under the new curriculum. Compared to the old curriculum, the new curriculum is learner centered, designed to meet a learner's needs and aspirations by improving their creativity, teamwork,communication skills and develop the ability to think critically.
